About us

SPIVITA is the brand of SPIRULINA FOR FOOD & BEVERAGES TRADING CO. L.L.C., a Dubai-based food and beverage trading company. We are responsible for how personal information collected through spivita.ae is used to handle your enquiries.

For privacy questions or requests, contact info@spivita.ae.

Information you provide

We collect the information you enter when requesting information about SPIVITA Pure Spirulina Powder 300 g:

  • Retail enquiries: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, requested number of packs and confirmation that we may respond to your request. Email and notes are optional.
  • Wholesale enquiries: your contact name, phone or WhatsApp number, business name, business type, requested number of packs and confirmation that we may respond. Email and notes are optional.
  • Product Details requests: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, customer type, preferred information language (English or Arabic) and confirmation that we may respond. Email and an additional message are optional.

We also record the type and time of the enquiry and its processing status. If you contact us directly by email or WhatsApp, we receive the contact information and message content you choose to share.

Please do not include passwords, payment-card details, medical information or other sensitive information that is unnecessary for your enquiry.

Why we use your information

We use it to respond to your request, explain the product and its availability, discuss retail or wholesale requirements, prepare a quotation and keep track of our correspondence. Contact details allow us to follow up using the relevant contact method you provided.

Submitting an enquiry does not complete a purchase, confirm an order or reserve stock. No online payment is taken through these forms. Any sale, price and payment arrangements are agreed separately.

An enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter or give permission for unrelated marketing. If you no longer want an enquiry followed up, please let us know.

How website enquiries are stored

Our forms use Contact Form 7. Enquiry records are stored in the website's WordPress database using Flamingo, our enquiry-management tool. Our team uses these records to handle your request. A form submission is not a public website post.

A copy of your enquiry is sent to a company email account so our team can respond. Email copies are additional records, separate from the website database.

WhatsApp communication

Selecting a WhatsApp link takes you to WhatsApp, where you decide whether to send the prepared message. The website does not automatically send it for you.

If you message us, SPIVITA receives information you share in that conversation, such as your number and messages. WhatsApp also handles information under its own Privacy Policy. Opening or using WhatsApp can involve its collection of device and connection information; this policy does not replace WhatsApp's own terms or privacy notice.

Website operation and service providers

Website and hosting systems may record technical information, such as IP addresses, pages requested and request times, to operate the website, investigate faults and address misuse. These records are separate from the information you enter in a form.

Hosting and technical-support providers may handle information when providing those services. Company email services handle notification copies. Communication services you choose to use, including WhatsApp, have their own privacy practices. Information may also need to be disclosed where required by law or in connection with legal claims.

Depending on the services involved, information may be processed outside the UAE. Please contact us if you would like information about the services involved in handling your enquiry.

Cookies and browser storage

The cookies and similar browser storage used depend on the features enabled on the website. You can manage or remove cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect website functionality.

Keeping and deleting information

Retention depends on the purpose of the record, any continuing enquiry and applicable record-keeping requirements. Enquiries, correspondence, technical logs and backups may have different retention arrangements. You can ask about information associated with your enquiry and request deletion.

Deleting an active enquiry does not automatically remove separate copies in email accounts, logs or backups. Those copies need to be considered separately when handling a request. We will explain any applicable limits or records that need to be retained, and why.

Your choices and privacy requests

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, or restriction or stopping of its use. Where processing relies on your consent, you may withdraw it. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. You may also ask about receiving a copy of your information or transferring it where that right applies.

Email info@spivita.ae with the subject Privacy request. Tell us what you would like us to do and provide enough information to locate your enquiry. Email was optional on the enquiry forms; you can identify a request using the phone number and approximate enquiry date instead.

We may need limited additional information to check your identity before disclosing or changing records. Please do not send identity documents unless we explain why they are needed and how to provide them.

We will consider your request under applicable law and explain the outcome, including any reason that prevents us from carrying out all or part of it. You may also raise a concern with the competent UAE data-protection authority where applicable.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change, we will update this policy and show its effective or last-updated date. Any new use requiring your permission will need that permission separately; continued browsing alone is not treated as agreement to unrelated uses.
